Travel guide of Maui10 km from Maui
After 5 hours of hiking and climbing up the vulcano - probably the quietes place on earth - we finaly made it by sunset. Some burning muscles on the uneven path, but we had to remember not to forget to enjoy the spactacular views, like through the clouds when we almost reached our destiny.

On our second night camping at high elevation in Maui’s Haleakala National Park, we watched the clouds churn below us and the bright pink moon come up in a distorted oval.

As we were completing our Road to Hana trip in Maui, past Kaupo, we saw the clouds emanate from the southern slopes as dusk settled in. A sight that couldn’t be missed. Capturing it made a lot of sense.

I visited here on a day trip along the ‘Road to Hana’. This is an epic coastal drive with amazing forests and waterfalls on one side and breathtaking beaches on the other I did plan to come back here and camp for a night or two but the weather was messed up & ultimately I ended up getting a bit too distracted by other locations for the rest of the trip.

The most amazing things happen in the most unlikeliest places. I went to grab something from Target and exited to find my car. I look up, and I see Maui’s mountain tops, covered in mountain-esque clouds. I appreciate it for a moment and get into my car to drive home. As I’m driving, I look in my rear-view mirror to see what you see before you. I pull over to get a shot, and I couldn’t believe the majestic scene in front of me. Wow.

This pebble stack stood tall and unfazed next to a raging stream. Very inspiring and thought provoking.

The Hawaiian coastline is primarily made out of hardened lava rock that has expanded the island over the years as more and more lava pours into the sea.

Living in Hawaii has its perks. This coast is not even 10 minutes from my house. The sunset I see from my porch is completely different from the ones I see at the shorelines. A simple long exposure with an ND filter achieved this shot with milky waves contrasted with the last rays of the burning sun. Goodbye today, see you tomorrow.

I traveled to the top of Mauna Kea one of the largest mountains in the world, although most of the mountain lies under water. The clouds surrounded my view point and it felt like I was entering into heaven.

The changing color is one of my favorite things. I love the coast line, and where the Kai becomes Moana. or (the ocean near the coast becomes the open ocean)
